We at PRNN, we believe that good health is the foundation of a thriving community. We are committed to increasing residents access to food, physical and mental health resources. This work is done through program creation and partnerships with local organizations.

Education

We place our residents at the forefront of neighborhood transformation. Through PRNN, residents of Park Forest and Richton Park have decision making power and a voice to advocate for their specific needs and improve their neighborhoods and livelihood.

Economic Development

Economic mobility is essential for building a strong and resilient community. PRNN provides residents with opportunities to advance their careers, gain financial stability and build wealth. We offer workshops focused on financial health and assist our residents with finding secure, stable and rewarding employment.

As part of United Way and Cook County’s Transforming Places Initiative, PRNN is at the forefront of driving meaningful change in Park Forest and Richton Park. We’re not just a network; we’re a movement dedicated to ensuring that every resident has the opportunity to thrive.

PRNN Programs

YAB – PRNN’s Youth Advisory Board is a 7-month program designed to empower current juniors and seniors, residing in Park Forest and Richton Park to nurture and enhance their leadership skills.  .
65/65 aims to serve the seniors of Park Forest and Richton Park by providing resources to address food insecurities through PRNN’s Health and Wellness Committee. 
The Park Forest Richton Park Neighborhood Network is committed to investing in our local youth. PRNN offers 3 scholarships to recent high school graduates or GED recipients embarking on their journey to post-secondary education.
PRNN’s Safe Summer programs were designed to provide 6 weeks of free high-quality programming to K-12 youth over the summer months.
